Shelley Musker Turner is an artist, craftswoman and musician from Wales.
Born and raised in the hills of Ceredigion, the three main influences and passions in her young life were music, horses and art.
After spending time in her teenage years working with horses in Spain and Austria she returned to the UK to train as a saddle maker.
Shelley has since specialised in Saddlery for film and has worked for a company in the South West of England for the past 5 year as well as taking private commissions from her own leather goods business, Musker Turner Leather/Lledr.
In 2018, Shelley started her journey as a professional folk harpist and shortly after joined internationally renowned Welsh folk band Calan and has since played gigs across the UK, Europe and the United States. Particular highlights of her career so far have included Calan's performance with Catrin Finch and the Brittany Symphony Ochrestra in Rennes as well as the St David Days Performance in St Davids Hall in Cardiff with the BBC National Ochrestra of Wales and the BBC National Chorus of Wales.
